Do you love the work you do? Many people do not think about this question, and job candidates seldom take the time to reflect on this question before applying for job after job. However, it is important that you know what is the right career for you. If you are unhappy in the type of construction work you do, you will have a hard time staying with one position.

What is your biggest challenge, on a daily basis, at work? When you ask this question, you suddenly will look at things that are causing your unhappiness. Perhaps it is not the construction job at all, but a challenge you are dealing with internally. Identify the problem and define a solution.
Are you looking for the perfect job in the right places? So many construction workers take the first job offer they get, but are you really looking for the right job, in the right place? Perhaps if you defined what you really want from your job, you might change how you do your job search.
